NOW YOU SEE THEM, NOW YOU DON’T

Bigfoot, Mothman, the Dover Demon, the Beast of Bray Road, Lake Elsinore Serpent. We’ve all heard stories, seen TV shows or movies about these and other creatures. A few, like Bigfoot, have a little evidence that they may exist: footprints, photographs, video, but most of them are just eyewitness reports. One thing they virtually all have in common is, there are hundreds, if not thousands of eyewitness reports and experiences that have been reported for centuries.

Now, I’m aware many people think there’s nothing to these stories and people are just pulling pranks, hallucinating, inebriated, etc. And I’m sure many of them are just stories or pranks. But when you can go back hundreds of years, and have reports from soldiers, police officers and reputable citizens, not to mention most Native American tribes, you have to consider, there may something to the existence of these creatures. Plus, I personally know of two people (one a strong Christian that I would trust with my life) that have had very close up encounters with Bigfoot.

But as a Christian, I believe from the reports, that the majority of these mysterious creatures are demonic in nature. That’s not to say that I don’t think that some of the creatures aren’t real. I don’t believe that mankind has discovered all the creatures that inhabit this world. And I believe some of them are very low in number, and extremely smart and they’ve avoided capture thus far. But most of the reports of these creatures are identical (for each individual creature) and there’s always one very unnatural feature they all have in common. Most all of them have glowing red eyes, and in some cases yellow. Not reflective like cats, but glowing with its own energy. That’s not natural.

Let’s take Bigfoot for example. Most of the stories I’ve read, for anyone who has had a closeup encounter, have said that Bigfoot’s eyes glow red. The person that had the encounter that I completely believe and trust, had a very close experience. At twenty-five to thirty feet away, the creature stopped, turned, and looked right at him. Not only did he say that the eyes were red, he said it was the scariest, most evil face he’s ever seen. To this day (he was not even a teenager when he had the experience, he’s now 40), he says he’s never seen anything, in any movie that looks that scary. He still gets a little shook up today when he’s asked to go into detail and talk about it again.

Personally, I think Bigfoot, and possibly a few other creatures, may be a mix of both supernatural and an actual undiscovered, or thought-to-be extinct species such as Gigantipithicus. Many footprints that have been cast have dermal ridges. But the vast majority of the sightings seem unnatural and frightening. Of course, encountering a bear or cougar in the woods would be frightening also!

Mothman appears to be demonic in nature. Reports of glowing red eyes along with the ability to fly at extreme speeds without flapping its leathery wings seems pretty supernatural. Incidents with the Mothman occur over 13-month periods and there are usually strange electrical interruptions that interfere with TVs, radios and automobiles. Native Americans in the past said they were plagued with strange lights, phantoms and strange creatures.

The Dover Demon seems to be strictly supernatural. In every case eyewitnesses state that the Dover Demon’s eyes glow red, orange or green. But other unnatural features about the Dover Demon is, it seems to lack a mouth, nose and ears. A creature has to be able to eat and breathe.

The Beast of Bray Road is an interesting one. Not only do some reports say it has red eyes, it also appears werewolf–like. And one particular encounter tells of a man who was a watchman at a burial ground when he encountered it. Being afraid, the man began to pray, then the creature turned and looked at him and growled, “Gadara.” Gadara is the site mentioned in the Bible where one of the most well-known healings of Jesus Christ's ministry took place. It’s where Jesus found the man among the tombs possessed with demonic spirits named Legion. It’s ironic that the Beast of Bray Road was found digging around at a burial site. Could it possibly be one of the demonic spirits from 2000 years ago? I imagine all the evil spirits left the pigs once they drowned in the sea, and many may still be in search of a host or simply appearing as a demonic creature to deceive and strike fear into people.

The Lake Elsinore Serpent could very well just be an undiscovered creature but, there’s one small problem. Actually it’s a big problem. Sightings started in 1884 and continue to this day. But in 1954, the lake went completely dry, and no creature was found. Not a trace. Yet once the lake was refilled, the sightings started up again.

This is only the tip of the iceberg concerning all the different creature sightings around the world. Many of the stories send a chill up your spine. As stated earlier, most of the reports have a demonic, supernatural aspect to them. I believe these forces have been at work for thousands of years, but I believe that they know their time is short, and they’re ramping up their efforts. I do believe we will continue to see an increase of these demonic forces. More sightings, more encounters, and more brazen.

By the way, all the creatures I’ve mentioned are purportedly right here in the United States.

Sleep tight.

Unexpected Common Ground

Chaim Witz was born August 25, 1949 in Tirat Carmel, Haifa, Israel. His mother, Flora Klein (a Jewish-Hungarian immigrant), along with her brother, were the only members of her family to survive the Holocaust. When Chaim was eight years old, his mother moved them to the United States. His father did not come with them. They settled in New York City.

Chaim and his mother struggled over the years, but they had each other, and their love and devotion to each other only grew through the difficult times. Flora always put Chaim before herself, and encouraged him in life and his talents. Chaim was gifted in music and as a writer. After high school, Chaim attended Sullivan County Community College in Loch Sheldrake, New York.

Even though Chaim pursued some writing, his real passion was music, specifically playing the bass guitar. He joined several bands in his younger years before finally finding his place in music. And changing his name to something easier to pronounce, and a name many recognize today: Gene Simmons, from the band KISS.

Now before you quit reading or come after me with pitchforks, I’m not condoning his lifestyle or recommending that everyone go to their concerts, buy their CD’s, trading cards, condoms or whatever else Gene has managed to get their name and image on. He is an incredible businessman and knows how to make a buck. But, I was flipping through the TV channels recently and happened across his reality show “Family Jewels,” and it really caught my interest. I didn’t mange to catch the whole program but essentially, it was about Gene telling his mother’s story to a young fan in Amsterdam, who was obviously taking notes for an article. The young boy’s grandfather was also present, and he was also a Holocaust survivor.

As Gene began to tell his mother’s story, which he was not very comfortable telling, he became very emotional. At times he even got so choked up that he had trouble continuing. He recalled the story his mother told him about the moment her life tragically changed forever, when as a teenager, her grandmother was taken out of the group they were in, to be taken to her death in a Nazi death camp. And how her mother told Flora goodbye and told her that she couldn’t let her mother go to her death alone. Flora watched her mother and grandmother walk arm-in-arm to their deaths.

Gene also paid a visit to the house of Anne Frank, where Anne and several other people hid out beginning in 1942 as persecution of the Jewish people increased. Again, Gene became very emotional as he toured the home, and became very distraught as he was reminded that Anne Frank died in a concentration camp. Gene didn’t even want his mother to know that he had visited the Anne Frank home, because he didn’t want to upset her.

Yes, Gene Simmons lifestyle doesn’t  mix well with Christianity. His music, his many sexual conquests, and his fear and aversion to marriage has resulted in an almost 30-year relationship with live-in girlfriend Shannon Tweed...there’s no question that is immoral.

But, his personality at home is much different than the one onstage.  He appears to be a very loving, caring parent and spouse (oops, boyfriend).  He appears to be a somewhat quiet, mild mannered guy that you could sit down and have an intelligent conversation with. He is also extremely patriotic and supportive of our military. I just note these things to say, he has some good qualities.

But my main point in writing this article is to say, he is very proud of his Jewish heritage, and Israel’s right to exist, and that’s saying a lot in the times we live in where Israel and the Jewish people are becoming less popular by the day, especially for someone in the entertainment industry, Jew or not. (Although this would be an entirely other article, I have a great deal of respect for actor Jon Voight who is a strong supporter of Israel, although I don’t believe he has a Jewish heritage, and I’ve not heard whether he is a Christian or not.)

I have a lot of respect for that, not to mention his mother being a Holocaust survivor. There are few Holocaust survivors left; in a few years, there won’t be any. To survive what they did is deserving of our respect and admiration.

Gene and his mother should be in our prayers, along with all Jewish people and Israel. Gene needs to have an experience like another famous person who also changed his name. Only this person is famous for writing two-thirds of the New Testament and having a life-changing experience on Damascus road: Saul, who became Paul!

Chaim has already made the name change. All he needs now is THE experience.

As In the Days of Noah

(Be sure and look for the upcoming book, Flashpoint 2012, which features a sensational chapter from Jeff. The book will be available from PM, so let us know if you’d like an autographed copy!)

I’ve caught a few episodes lately of a television program called Ancient Aliens, on the History Channel. The basic premise of the series is that aliens visited Earth thousands of years ago, and gave mankind knowledge and help in building structures, technology, etc. They point out hieroglyphs, statues, and writings, and cave paintings that do seem to indicate humanoid creatures, usually bigger than humans that interacted with man in the past. Many cultures worshipped them as gods. And most cultures around the world have stories concerning beings, creatures, gods, that fell from the heavens to Earth. If this all sounds somewhat familiar, it should.

Genesis chapter 6:2-4 describes this exact event happening during the days of Noah. Now, the majority of people in the church believes what has been the position of the church since the fourth century, which states that the sons of God came from the God-fearing line of Seth; and the daughters of men refers to the daughters of the unbelieving line of Cain.

While this is the popular belief of most Christians, it conflicts with Genesis as well as other Scripture. Take Job 1:6 for example when Satan approached the throne of God to ask permission to attack Job:

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.” In the Old Testament terminology angels are called sons of God while men are called servants of God. The Old Testament consistently uses the terminology “sons of God” to refer to angels. Thus, it’s only logical to conclude that the term means the same for Genesis 6:2.

The Bible says that Noah was righteous in all his ways. I believe, as do many others, that Noah and his family were pure, not contaminated. Through these fallen angels, Satan tried to contaminate the bloodline of the entire human race. If he had succeeded, Jesus could never be born, and humanity would never have a chance at salvation. And with the exception of Noah and his family, Satan almost succeeded.

These “gods” had offspring referred to in different scriptures as giants, some even described as having six fingers and six toes on each hand and foot. These giants were referred to as the heroes of old, men of renown, they were the Nephilim. There are apocryphal books, such as the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Enoch that go into greater detail concerning the events leading to the Flood and these giants. Now, I realize that a lot of people have a problem with these books since they aren’t in the Bible, which I understand but, one of the reasons these books weren’t included centuries ago is because of the new and more popular position about the line of Seth and, the simple people just couldn’t handle something this shocking. The “church” at that time had to protect the people.

Many people have a problem with the idea of fallen angels procreating with women. Usually the first response is that angels can’t have sex. The Bible never says that. Jesus said in Matthew 22:30, that angels neither marry nor are given in marriage. Consider 1 Corinthians 11:10, where Paul instructs that a woman should cover her head, as a sign of subjection to her husband, and also “because of the angels.” Why would Paul suddenly refer to angels? It seems Paul thought that an uncovered woman was a temptation to angels.

Which brings us back to the television series about aliens or, gods from the heavens. I know I’m not alone in my belief that these aliens were actually fallen angels, demons, and that they are making a comeback in these last days. The appearances of UFOs and the reports of abductions have been increasing at an incredible rate over the last several years. As well as the publics interest in all things paranormal.

Author and publisher Tom Horn has a new book titled, Forbidden Gates: Genetic Tampering and the Days of Noah, in which he discusses dramatic technological advancements such as re-engineered humanity, nanotechnology and genetic manipulation. Satan inspiring and working through men to fulfill the Biblical prophecy is a key end-times signpost. We refer to Matthew 24:37, in which we are told that the end will be as it was in the days of Noah.

Through ungodly men tampering with genetics, and direct contact and interference by fallen angels masquerading as aliens, mankind is being taken down a dark path again in these last of the last days. I believe that the world is going to see continued growth of the paranormal and be witness to more and more unbelievable supernatural happenings. Even if the Rapture occurs in the very near future, I personally believe that we as Christians will witness more supernatural and frightening things than we could ever imagine.

Although, I believe that after the Rapture, and during the Tribulation, the supernatural/paranormal occurrences will be so great, it will be surreal and like some of the most bizarre things we see in movies today. People will lose their minds!

As Christians, we have the great hope of what lies beyond this life. That we are “aliens” in this world, we are merely passing through. I believe as Christians we need to be aware of prophecy being fulfilled, the pivotal things happening in the Middle East, and the increasing persecution and abandonment of Israel. But I also think we need to be very aware of the strange and paranormal things happening at an increasing rate around us daily. Because I believe they are only going to increase as evil increases in the world, and it could confuse and deceive even believers if we are caught off-guard.

To understand the present and the future, we need to understand the past.

Groundwork

As a self proclaimed movie geek, I prepared to watch a movie the other night on my computer, just to relax and try to forget some of the recent stresses I have been dealing with.  I like a wide range of movies, but this night, I prepared to watch a sci-fi movie. I didn’t really know what it was about—just who starred in it and that it was sci-fi. I never realized that I would be tying it into scripture and End Time events. Sure, I’m always looking for a connection and ideas, but this one was very strong and very unexpected.

It was the recently made movie starring Nicolas Cage called, “Knowing.”  I was interested in the movie simply because I was in the mood for sci-fi and, I sometimes enjoy Nicolas Cage. I say “sometimes,” because, for me at least, Nicolas Cage tends to be a hit-or-miss actor.  Either he does a great job, good script, acting, etc., or it’s painful to watch. It’s just an interesting observation for me.

But back to the movie and the point I want to make. Essentially, the movie is about a young girl, possibly ten years old, who along with her fellow students, is preparing some drawings and other items for a time capsule. You see, the time is 1959, and it isn’t to be opened until 2009. Well the last thing the teacher asks them to do is for each one of them to draw what they believe the future will look like in 50 years.

All the children are excited and start right away. But this particular little girl, who’s been hearing voices in her head for a while now apparently, begins to write her paper. Very rapidly! We don’t see immediately what she’s written but, when the teacher says she’s out of time, we see nothing but numbers. Line after line of numbers, front and back.

Now we’re in the present, and the time capsule is being dug up, and Nicolas Cage’s on-screen son, is in the same grade, and school, as the little girl was and actually gets her “drawing” when they are passed out to the children. Nicolas Cage’s character is a college professor of physics or something that’s WAY beyond my understanding. When he finally begins to see a pattern to the numbers, he begins to slowly believe that maybe things in the universe aren’t just random.

I guess I should back up a little. You see, his character basically doesn’t believe in God in the beginning of the film, and he tends to drink heavily. He’s a single parent. He lost his wife to a tragic accident a year earlier and is still grieving and bitter. And his dad is a retired pastor and Christian, as are his mom and sister, who still pray for him. They weren’t portrayed as crazy or weird, which is a nice change for Hollywood standards.

Anyway, he begins to see that any real major catastrophe from the time the little girl of 1959 wrote these numbers until the present, is listed. Even the hotel fire that claimed his wife and many others, a year earlier. There are only a few numbers left, and he finally sees the dates they all represent, except the very last one of course, come to pass.

He manages to find the daughter of the little girl from the fifties, and she happens to have a daughter herself who is his son’s age. Her mother died when she was young, and basically went insane because of the voices and the numbers. They find out that both of their children are now hearing voices and having very strange experiences with strangers.  Tall, blond men dressed in black.

Nicolas Cage realizes that the last numbers represent the end of the world by fire, and that the strangers are actually aliens that were warning people. It seems that young children (it’s unknown if it’s all of the children around the world) are hearing these “alien” voices and are to be saved, and beamed aboard alien ships around the world. But only the children, not the adults.

Shortly after being rescued, Nicolas Cage’s character, his family (who he reunites with) and the rest of the world are totally destroyed by fire from a solar flare.

I just found it curious that this was a very strange version of the Rapture. The aliens, once they showed their true form at the very end, even seemed to have very faint glowing wings. Indicating that angels have been aliens all through history, Biblical and otherwise.

Several professors and so-called experts, offered their opinions, ideas and theories about Christianity and the end of the world in the extra features on the dvd. One professor in particular caught my attention: Sabina Magliocco, professor of anthropology at Cal. State Northridge. Professor Magliocco said, “ I think the alien mythology offers humans a great deal of hope. They offer the hope of human survival against a backdrop of a planet that appears to be doomed, whether because of nuclear annihilation, or environmental degradation, or the indifference of governments to our problems, whatever it is that’s bad here on Earth, the aliens are going to come, they’re going to pluck us off the planet and somehow, in some different place, in some far-away universe, human beings are going to survive, and they are going to live on.”

Now this particular professor may not believe in aliens but, many average citizens, as well as those in the scientific community, take very seriously the idea of aliens, and possible alien contact in the future.  Moreso than ever.

And Professor Magliocco’s quote shows that more and more people are looking to aliens, not God, for hope. For salvation from the evils coming on this planet. To take us to a far-away place (Heaven?) where we’ll live happily ever after.

And while I, and many others, enjoy a little sci-fi now and then, and see it as what it is—entertainment, I truly believe that more and more people each day see these “ideas” as real possibilities. Because of the magic of special effects today, and great writing, and acting, it’s becoming more believable, and more accepted. I believe it is preparing the lost souls of this world for a supernatural happening (The Rapture of the church) and whatever delusion and supernatural happenings that Satan will then bring on the world.

I just set out to relax and watch an entertaining movie. And by the end, realized the groundwork is being laid, and the world is being prepared for a very supernatural happening. Only it won’t be aliens rescuing people from a doomed planet, it will be the God of the Bible. And it won’t just be children. It will just be the children of God.

The Collective

Every day.

Every single day you can expect a leftist to make a completely outrageous statement. It calls to mind the comment by the late editor of the Jerusalem Post, David Bar-Illan. Observing leftist views masquerading as journalism, Bar-Illan said that journalists today often write the most mind-blowing nonsense!

They also speak it.

No matter how insane the statement, it’s no longer even shocking.  In fact, it’s shocking when it doesn’t happen.

Like the other day, when John “Cougar” Mellencamp made one such outrageous statement.  The singer/songwriter from Indiana reveals both his own intense dislike of conservatives, but also, apparently, his love of Marxism:

“I don’t think people fought and gave their lives so that some guy can sit in his bedroom and be mean. I don’t think that’s what freedom of speech is,” he continued. “Freedom of speech is really about assembly — for us to collectively have an idea. We want to get our point of view out so we can assemble and I can appoint you to be the spokesman. That’s freedom of speech — to be able to collectively speak for a sector of people. But somehow it’s turned into ‘I can be an a****** whenever I feel like, say whatever I like, be disrespectful to people and not be courteous.’ It’s not good for our society. Not being courteous is not really freedom of speech . . . ”

Does Mellencamp not realize that his very statement is not courteous?  Not that that even applies to the First Amendment.  It’s not shocking, it’s very typical of the left to view freedom of speech as only applying to them, but not to anyone that doesn’t fall lock-step into the collective.

We need to realize that Marxist/socialists go into the fields of entertainment, media, politics, and, sadly, even the Church. Their leftist bias is perpetuated through the generations. As Michael Oren reveals in his fascinating book, Power, Faith, and Fantasy, America’s Arabists in the State Department learned from their ancestors in the same circles. Today’s “State” is populated by the descendants of Israel-hating careerists, and a more “collective” mindset you’ll never see.

Pop culture and entertainment see the same bias projected across the country, every day through television, radio, and print. Mellencamp’s Stalinist views, incredibly, are part of the mainstream today, as projected by the media.

“Collectively” is a very telling phrase by Cougar/Cougar-Mellencamp/Mellencamp.

Which brings me to my point, a comparison.  As either of my kids will tell you, I’m a geek.  A geek in a lot of different ways; one of them being, a sci-fi geek.  Some of you may be familiar with “Star Trek, The Next Generation.”  In some of the more intense episodes, they face an enemy called The Borg.  Essentially they are a cyborg, part-human, part-machine.  The Borg find other species, primarily humans it seems, and force them to become one of them.  Once they become a Borg, they each perform many different tasks, but they all operate as One.  They are mindless creatures that are all controlled by one supreme Borg.  They each know what the other is doing and experiences, and they all have the same goal.  They are called the Collective.  Their goal is to involuntarily “recruit” others to become a part of their Collective and to completely dominate every being in the universe. To think the same, feel the same and have the same ongoing goal.   And any who dare to resist are to be destroyed.

I just found it interesting that Mellencamp used the term, “collectively.”  That word instantly brought this comparison and image to my mind.

Now for anyone who isn’t a sci-fi geek, this may seem like a strange or even harsh comparison.  But I don’t believe that it is.  Most liberals, especially the radicals, don’t think for themselves.  They are just following liberal talking points.  Period.  As Rush Limbaugh says, they can’t compete in the arena of ideas.  They constantly preach tolerance, yet they have zero tolerance for anyone who doesn’t share their radical views.  Their goal is to make everyone believe and see things as they do.

Any true conservative wants a person to have the freedom to be and achieve what that person can in this life.  We believe in laws and rules to protect life and said freedom, but not a total, rigid, identical belief in every area of life. This is not so for the liberal. They want total compliance, and they won’t stop until they get it.  Ever.

And make no mistake, thinking “collectively” is a component of Darwinian philosophy; the group is preeminent, while the individual is expendable. Notice how starkly that contrasts with the teachings of Jesus.  This leftist thinking extends, obviously, to the unborn, who are chillingly disregarded by folks like Mellencamp.

For collective thinkers, the next step in their “evolution” will be terminating the old and the mentally challenged, or anyone else they see as an obstacle to their vision.  Too far-fetched, you say?  Check back in ten years.  Possibly much less, as quick as things are deteriorating with this new administration.

We are in a war.  As conservatives and Christians, we are in a war.  Lives and souls are being lost each and every day.  Ultimately we are up against spiritual forces, but they accomplish their goals through physical means, by using those who choose to remain in the dark.

Those who choose to become part of the Collective.
